Partner spotlight: Vicomtech paving the way for autonomous mobility
Our partner Vicomtech is developing a validation methodology for AI-based CCAM systems - contributing to the creation of a comprehensive Safety Assurance Framework (SAF) that places safety, trust, acceptance, and comfort of all road users at the core of autonomous mobility.
Building on the results of SUNRISE and SYNERGIES, we address the most critical challenges in validating Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) systems - from components to complete vehicle integration - through a continuous validation process that covers the entire lifecycle of automated vehicles.
Vicomtech’s work combines advanced AI technologies and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication to ensure that autonomous vehicles can interact safely and predictably with the full spectrum of human behaviour - from development to deployment.
